First, we take an impression of your teeth to create a mola model with our in-house cad/cam , and then our lab makes the trays specifically for your mouth. When you’re ready to whiten, you simply apply the trays with the professional strength whitening gel we provide and wear them for a recommended amount of time, usually an hour at a time when you first start using them to avoid sensitivity.
Because the trays are custom fitted, they make sure the gel stays in place and doesn’t irritate your gums, unlike other popular over-the-counter whitening products, such as whitening strips, which do not fit as well. You will also see faster results, as our in-house professional strength bleaching gel is 16% carbamide peroxide, while most whitening strips you can get over the counter are only 10%.
